Denizen,
Monday morning quarterback u are; myself I'm glad Biden got us the fuck out of Afghanistan.
This is exactly how Brandon supporters are spinning his failure in execution. They pretend that, had it not been for oh-so-brave Brandon's leadership, that we would have remained in Afghanistan forever.

Getting the F out of A*ghanistan was never a question. We were going to do it, period. Trump already set that plan into motion.

Brandon FUBAR'd it big time, first by extending out the timeline without making sure that the Taliban wouldn't be upset by it, then by turning the withdrawal into a full-blown retreat when the Taliban DID come in with guns blazing.

This is reflected in the polls:

Majority of U.S. public favors Afghanistan troop withdrawal; Biden criticized for his handling of situation (Pew Research)

54% agreed with the withdrawal (vs. 42% disagree)

But did Brandon do a good job handling the situation? A plurality said he did a poor job:

- 6% excellent
- 21% good
- 29% fair
- 42% poor
