I've been taking 10000 iu per day for a number of years. I also work outside in the Summer. My last reading was 241. A bit high but surprisingly the Doc was not concerned. He said they have removed the upper safe limit and said over 300 is where we get concerned that damage can be created elsewhere. Anyway, I have moved down to 5000 iu per day and will see where my reading goes. The upper level of normal in his guideline was 75 with no upper limit. I was pleasantly surprised. I think Bill would have been happy at that development.

For those of you taking high dose D3 I do have a question. Do you think it thins the blood? I am not on any blood thinner, and no medication whatsoever. I just had a surgery to remove a cyst yesterday and the nurse cleaning me up commented on my blood being thin and said it was likely from the blood thinners. When I told he I wasn't on them she was surprised. I asked her if she thought D3 could have an impact but she didn't think so. But, she didn't know. Anyway, it's something worth following up on.

Have a healthy Christmas everyone.
