There are already weekend days where solar has provided virtually all the power California consumes for a few hours. (shoulder seasons).

Tesla Powerwall owners are already making $$ selling back power there during peak power demands during heatwaves.

In a few decades with BEV V2G and more renewables it's a "slam dunk".

And those BEV owners will be making $$ too!

Wharfie,
Like over the next 27 years, or, going back to Arnold, over a 45 year period?
The reshoring of manufacturing needs to be done within the space of a decade.

Not 27 years. Not 45 years.

Otherwise it's meaningless because a lot can and will change over a longer period of time (e.g. AI, robots, fusion energy, WWIII)

And that's on top of us moving toward a future where we even achieve 50/50 gas/electric for cars.
