ben, you lost me. completely. how does the size of my pocket tell me what company to invest in. oh, you are probably the author of "how to end up with a million dollars in the stocks market - start out with $10 million" hot seller ;-)

as for shorting, you said the specialists have total control. why would they allow your short to make money now but not then? the level of manipulation you talk about on a stock like aol just isn't accurate nor even close. the big buyers were out. period.
