Gilbert, you have an advantage over us if you purchase first, lets face it some of these insiders have paid more than the current price. Small investors I think can have a big impact on some of the less liquid issues, I know even with my $4-6K purchases it can be difficult to fill my positions on some stocks, maybe not a Tembec but others. If 5-10 people are influenced by this thread and they tell their friends you can generate quite a bit of interest.
I usually stay away from issues under $1 as very volatile and commissions become expensive,
Re Altamira and Dorset I've heard a nbr of people talk about it, I guess it does go on(especially on VSE),much less so on MSE+TSE.

FYI
The BC Securities commission is looking at changing their web site in the near future (perhaps a month or two). They are developing a free search engine that you can search by company or person and get insider trading history for that company or person.

I'll try remember to post here when it is available.

Also FYI, another user gave me the URL for the Quebec Securities commission. There is nothing there yet - but hopefully soon. Anyone have any ideas on what Ontario is doing?
