Much the same could be said for the SPY, although the gain would have been a more modest ~27%.

I would certainly suggest parking some of one's investment cash into the SPY as it does, after all, represent 500 large-cap US companies and serves as one of the main benchmarks of the U.S. equity market and indicates the financial health and stability of the economy.
In some respects the QQQ and SPY could be seen as one's personal Retirement Fund, separate from one's stock buying and selling .....



Further to the Portfolios we put together back in 2012, the SPY beat everything with an overall gain of 236.8% ---->
