Today it is Christmas here. People have gone quiet and quiescent. Other than those now drunk and beating their families and others somewhere in surburbia.

I had a ride on my little motor scooter to visit while checking the ambience around town.

One bloke on a powerful motorcycle was not quiet and quiescent but enjoyed the empty roads hurtling at great speed enjoying himself = for now.

I shall continue our solving of the human realm soon enough.

Meanwhile, having used the expression Pascal's triangle which I have not used in earnest for over half a century, I thought I'd check my reference. I got it right. A simple start that results in great numbers down the line, each line forming from the one before with bonus numbers added. Wikipedia is great. There was much more detail on its history than I ever knew of.

For example:

Pascal's triangle was known in China during the early 11th century as a result of the work of the Chinese mathematician Jia Xian (1010–1070). During the 13th century, Yang Hui (1238–1298) presented the triangle and hence it is still known as Yang Hui's triangle (????; ????) in China. [9]

Today is much more pleasant than the hurly burly of regular life as people enjoy their tattered and not so tattered families.

It's strange to think that here and there people are blowing each other up and shooting them to "win". The good news is that 20,000 people dead in Gaza is considered a lot. The bad news is that preparations are underway for 4 orders of magnitude expansion of such carnage, with ready set go pumped, primed and ready to launch. Maybe 5 orders of magnitude.

I do wonder why Made in China megalomaniacs think it a great idea to subjugate the pleasant people of Taiwan. Yes, I know their theory about what was once, born to rule, paperwork from bygone times, and all that. What would it matter if Emperor Pooh Xi and co simply left them to do what they like? Living in New Zealand seems okay and England didn't feel the need to maintain authority and ownership over New Zealand. Cook Islands was once part of New Zealand but they run their own show now = seems to be good though I object to paying taxes to be delivered there. If they want to be independent they should pay for their own hobbies. I don't see why China should send money to Taiwan if they want to be independent.

My opinion is that the bossy bastards are just dumb authoritarian thugs who showed their colours in sandpits when they were two years old.

The balance between kleptocratic bossy bastard collectivism and individuals is always fraught with problems. Kim the Fatter takes it to extremes. Nowhere gives much weight to individuals though USA blows a lot of hot air asserting that they are all for individuals. Tax levels show that's not true.

This was just going to be a simple Merry Christmas message, holding the line until I get back to it. But a good rant is always tempting. I'll cease now and make a nice pot of tea.

Tradable Citizenship would be The End of History - more so than liberal democracy. But ignoring artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, and whatnot which will change history bigly

Merry Xmas TJ to you and yours.
