you are right about your statement about making money on companies that almost go bankrupt but dont but i have trouble figuring out the ones that will survive. I have seen companies go bankrupt when they did not need to wiping out the shareholder but keeping management with cushy pay packages in place. So as always its caveat emptor. litigation firm Burford is up sharply today. Apparently Argentina is changing its tune about how it wants to deal with the judgement. Current nominal value of the judgement to burford is $6.3 billion.
