EV's IMHO is a loosing proposition now. what can change is a completely new generation of batteries or an improvement in hydrogen prices and the safe availability of hydrogen not as liquefied gas.

Internal combustion of hydrogen engines work just fine. Compared to gasoline hydrogen packs over 2.6 times the energy. Also higher compression rates improves performance.
