Intel Investors - Looks like we may get a "New" name for Slot 2 Deschutes devices" biz.yahoo.com Here is an excerpt from Grove's speech: "He described a forthcoming packaging development called Slot 2, which will allow for higher frequency processors, as well as full-speed level two caches to be used in conjunction with multiprocessing to deliver scalable performance. Grove also noted that Intel will launch an extension to the Pentium II processor family brand name to be associated with the high-performance segments of computing. " Any guesses? Pentium Pro Plus?
