I would say that what matters far more is HOW MUCH of that Sales Revenue reaches the Bottom Line of the Income Statement

Of course over the very long term stocks gotta produce some net income.

But for tech stocks sales can be booming, the company is losing money, and the shares can easily rocket higher. Elevated gross margins are probably the number two item (after sales) for tech stocks.

Tech stocks with rapidly rising sales will assume the profits will come later.....
