Great, you were able to use the google That is NOT the point... the original discussion was the R party under Lincoln compared to the R party today which became the party of racists starting with the Civil Rights act in the 1960s. Lots of brain-dead Rs and MAGAs like to say they are currently the party of civil rights because of Lincoln which has nothing to do with the R party of today. He thinks charities are the answer for people who fall between the cracks of society. Probably believes that godly xstians can pray away the gay. By buttmar's "logic" today's liberals must also want to send all Japanese people in the U.S. to interment camps because FDR did it after Pearl Harbor.
