I view Lincoln as a heroic figure Sure, he was a progressive, not a conservative... thus a heroic figure, for doing the hard thing FDR another heroic figure... A progressive and liberal, but far from perfect... well duhh who is Teddy R., another heroic progressive, but not perfect The Kennedys were definitely not conservative... So, probably while they killed them I can't think of any conservative heroic figures Jesus was a community organizer and a flaming liberal... probably why they killed him as well
