There were a few German speakers in TX in the 20th century ... Hell, I even offered up one that I worked for ... .the Cuban German Jew you claimed I invented. There just weren't many.

BTW:

Yiddish and German

In general, the two languages are not mutually comprehensible (this is especially true for German speakers trying to understand Yiddish);
