TM,

As far as the rumors go, they sound good, but so far at least, they are unconfirmed. I'm tempted to believe that something good has happened, or is about to, but I'd sure like to put the Q4 numbers behind us, and hear about the good things from Ancor management.

There seem to be buyers all over, and relatively few sellers. Level 2 doesn't really show anything unusual now, but I was down for about an hour this morning.

Time will tell whether this fire will fizzle, but it sure is generating a lot of smoke. <g>

Craig

Trend,

The striking thing the past week is that when the buying has dried up, it has not been followed by significant selling. Imagine how scarce the shares would become if we had a stream of good news...

Just to throw a little water on the fire for the sake of not getting swept away with speculation, take a gander at Valence Tech (VLNC).
It was flying high the last few trading days leading up to today's CC, running from the mid $4s all the way to $7 5/8 this AM. A lot of excitement on the VLNC thread with many believing the recent trading activity had indicated that VLNC had finally turned the corner. Turned out to be not much more than traders jumping on the bandwagon once VLNC crossed $5 1/2 resistance last week. CC was a big letdown although long term outlook still appears positive. I believe the move from $8 to $9 in ANCR is based more on technicals than anything else. I feel pretty queasy at this level without some solid news to support the price...
