Cherry picking can be very, very dangerous for the uneducated. This thread proves that in spades. Both of my parents had multiple science degrees. I learned a lot well before I went to college. They instilled in me a passion for science. But most importantly.. Curiosity What makes the Universe tick...? Why keep rubbing two sticks together and breathing that crap!
