It is legal, in Nevada. And of course it's been less of a problem there than where it's illegal.

In my city the cops did nothing about street prostitutes for decades, except for copping a blowjob now and then. It was a problem as a high school was located on the road they worked. It never would have been tolerated in a rich neighborhood where the Johns lived.

Craigslist finally got rid of street walkers. I took the occasion to thank Craig. Now they ply their trade online.
