David, I believe this group includes Morgan Stanly. I'm not worrying about that, but I am worried about a significant correction in the next few weeks...TBR aside, things just don't feel right to me. I'm assuming that the privatization plans the firms came up with were presented along with their price. If these plans did not meet or exceed Brazil's expectations, they wouldn't have been selected, right?

This leads us to the key question of the moment, when will we see the details. Immediately after signing the contracts? A story yesterday claimed this would happen mid-march unless one of the other bidders files an appeal. In my mind one potential selling point would be just before details are released, another, just before the actual sale bids are opened. I'll make decisions based on the stability of markets in general as we go.

March oughta be a BIG news month, starting with month 1 earnings in another week or two.

regards,

sf

Enthusiasm seems to be picking up as the afternoon drags on, or is it related to options expiration. Funny all the emphasis seems to be on their options expiration. I would think our options markets might actually have more impact.
