Eric, you absolutely have to control the airspace. I would love it if the U.S. decided to give Ukraine a few F-35 stealth fighters and trained their pilots on "Wild Weasel" operations. Wild Weasel (Wikipedia) On the other hand, F-16s are already being used for those kinds of operations. If Ukraine could build up an operational fleet of F-16s, maybe like a dozen in the air at a time (which means they need at least three dozen total), perhaps they can start a brand new counteroffensive operation. Only this time, unlike last year, Ukraine will NOT telegraph this counteroffensive. Tenchusatsu
