Jesus never condemned slavery. So, we can assume he thought it was normal.

Combjelly call you a troll, and maybe so, but when you say things like:" right and wrong are basics and don't evolve shows you do not understand right or wrong, or evolution!

This is dead wrong!!

Brumar89:"Right and wrong are basics, they didn't evolve. If its wrong now, it was wrong thousands of years ago."

A quick and simple evidence is that we no long have state sanctioned slavery, or public torture and most countries except ours does not have a death penalty

The EVOLUTION of our species is really the whole ball game that LIBERALS see, and conservatives not so much!

Brumar 89: "take history into context "

Loads of people thought slavery was wrong centuries before Washington and Jefferson's time. No sense in saying it was okay because society allows it.

"Right and wrong are basics, they didn't evolve. If its wrong now, it was wrong thousands of years ago."

Ephesians 6 1

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
