Mark, Personality cults thrive due to some built in socializing program in the human. Evolved tribalism I guess. For some reason there are groups who are prey to the rabble rousers, usually in bad times, when they offer a pathway out. So in Apples darkest hour Jobs appears, and they pounce on him as a savious. He siezes on an enemy(the clones) and exterminates them. The clones were the brightest and fastest rising star in Apples firmament. Do you see the parallel?? By getting rid of the clones he may in fact have killed APple. A short term pimple on the bottom line, I discount that as trivial. Where will AAPL be in 2 years? An Oracle buyout??, Oracle is ina doom slide as well, I would not sell my AAPL shares fpr Oracle paper. A good buyour for cash OK, or shares you can sell as cash. Bill
