Call me crazy, but I see no reason to jam a civilian passenger aircraft’s communications under any circumstances.

The PRC declared an ADIZ in the East China Sea on November 23, 2013

This ADIZ differs from other zones because it claims to apply to all aircraft transiting the zone whether or not they intend to enter PRC national airspace. Such a requirement is inconsistent with international law.
