ROIC just doesn't work on a negative equity business. ROIC works regardless of the capital stack. Invested capital is the sum of equity and debt and other liabilities minus no - operating cash. I am not sure what you think the definition of invested capital is. I think it’s a bit arrogant to berate people that they have not opened the 10-k when you seem to have a fuzzy idea about the metrics you mention here.
