My best guess as to why KLIC is selling off is due to the news about anti-dumping penalties being levied on several Taiwanese chipmakers... KLIC has alot of customers in Taiwan... its hard to say at this point what effect this will have, but I suspect there is some knee-jerk selling going on because of it...

Bryan,

I believe we're seeing a typical options expiration week. Also, techs
are due for a slight correction (most of techs TA indicates this).

KLIC still look solid, I bought another 1K at 26 3/8. Hope to sell all my KLICs somewhere in the 50s.

Good luck.

Alot of people "square" their positions ahead of long weekends then buy back the first chance they get. That way if any bad news comes out over the weekend they don't get slammed. Hence the up morning. I can think of several reasons for the afternoon weakness ie. Clinton remarks on Iran, Asian flu, options expiration etc. etc.
