I doubt any of the 2 1/2 million Palestinians in the Gaza are aware of that history. That's armchair. But they're aware of the thousands killed by Israel and the ruins of their lives and I don't think they'll forget the part the US played. Israel can't bomb their way to peace. Netanyahu does not want peace because he would be held accountable. We have been duped into this war by the just revenge motive. He declared war on Hamas, not on Gazanes, the people living there, but a terrorist organization, which he has been funding for years. And war is just legalized murder.
