That depends on what it is you are trying to do. I know people who have 100% of their portfolio in SPY. Who's to say that isn't the correct move for them?

In the Young Folk Portfolio I want to build SPY up to 20% and SMH and XLK 10% each, but I have no problem if SPY eventually represents 50% or more.

It just depends on what it is you want your portfolio to do. What's right for me might not be right for you.
