Well, as I have been told by Dan, the seller does not want their name released until the deal is finalized. As I recall, last week, Dan told me that there was speculation that KMart was the chain that was selling these stores but he could not confirm or deny this information. Calls came into MIS after KMart announced the closing of its stores in Canada.

The seller is trying to make internal decisions as to how many of the auto locations that they wish to sell since they may use some of the area that the auto stores occupy in malls for other purposes. As I understand the seller has sweetened the deal financially to allow for the delay. MIS would prefer to know exactly how many stores are to be sold before the final announcement so that they know what exactly to tell the present employees.

Thats what I know for now.
