I have the SOX charting software ready for you.
There are a few points to note:

(1) This is a modified version of a bitcoin percent bullish program. I've kept the copyright with the original author and have not put my name on it. Since it is under Mozzilla license, there are not restrictions on modification and use (though you cannot close source it - see the license details). And I hereby forgo any IP rights for my part of modification.

(2) Tradingview allows a maximum of 40 ticker to be called up in a script. SOX has only 30 members. I thought it would be a waste to not fill up to the limit. So in addition to the 30 members, I also added XSD, SMH and SOXX etfs to the list, plus 7 other stocks that are in the space (UMC, CDNS, INFNY, etc). If you want to be a purist about it, you can delete those lines (it's pretty obvious what they are) and adjust the divisor to 30 from 40. You can also replace any of the extra tickers with what you think is more appropriate. Or you can put multiple entries for SOXX to give the BP of the overall index a greater weight in the final graphs. Anything is possible ;)

(3) You will need to open an account on TradingView to run the script (it's free). During your first month, you will have full access to TV. I suggest that you build your watchlists and what not during this trial period because once your 30 days are over, you will be limited to how many tickers you can put in a watchlist. However, as far as charting the bullish percent goes, it will work just fine with the free limited accounts.

Finally, you can also plot weekly or monthly or charts and see how the percent bullish changed over a long period.

PM me if you have any question. The email is on its way ;)

have a great weekend.

PS I figured that a bullish percent should be expressed as a percent. So it's not the number of members that are bullish but the actual percentage of the 40 tickers.

Here's what it looks like
