Eric,
So are we the "policeman of the world"? With you guys it's off and on, off and on.
We're witnessing a shift in political party platforms.

It used to be that, when it came to foreign policy, the Republicans followed the neoconservative school of thought. Spread democracy at 6,000 rounds a minute.

Now the Republicans are all about Fortress America. Pat Buchanan was well ahead of his time. Abandon NATO, abandon alliances in the Asian Pacific, and build a wall/moat/force field to stop the lItErAl iNvAsIoN on the southern border.

What about the Democrats? Right now the Hillaryhawks are in charge. They're the ones who voted for Iraq before voting against it. They were the ones who were all for bombing the crap out of the goat fukkers in Afghanistan before Brandon successfully turned Kabul into Saigon. And now they're all for supporting Ukraine.

However, there is a rift in the Democratic Party with regard to Israel. Most of course still want to support Israel, if not Net-N-Yahoo specifically, but some want a divorce, especially the Rashida Tlaib wing and the Harvard sophists.

This rift will only grow as the Democrats face the inevitable. There will be a clash between the woke peaceniks who would boycott Big Tech anytime they work with the Department of Defense, and the Hillaryhawks who think America should still maintain a strong military presence overseas and preserve the so-called "rules-based world order."

Either way, the future of America's military industrial complex is very uncertain. Couple that with drops in recruitment, and we're gonna have to face a military reckoning, sparked by members of both parties.
