Buying has been weak all afternoon. However, the sellers are not willing to let their shares go at the bid price, which is a good sign. Support at 34 is strong especially when the whole market is down. If we can close above 34 today, we may never see 31-32 again.

After watching quote.com's 15 minute delay, I believe that this was just the MM's taking out the stop losses down to 33 1/2. There were a lot of 33 1/2 sales all at one time for 500 - 100 shares. Also, it was amazing to watch them first take out the 33 5/8 stop losses 100-500 at a time and then to see a 25,000 purchase. The big boys are buying into this, anyone who is selling should have their head examined. Ted, Nice insight. I agree with you, too, that they are just playing with us now. GSCO set a bottom at about 34 1/2 and then it just inched up from there. Still, it is staying a couple of sixteenths off of the bid, so as not to push things up to far too fast. What a game. If anyone has netmeeting ready I'm game to give it a try now with shared -- live -- level 2. Just let me know. FWIW, every MM and his/her brother/sister is now a seller at 34. Gary Korn
