Yep,

You could generate all the energy mankind is using impacting less than 0.2% of land area of the planet covered with PV's or wind turbines.

Not counting rooftops!

Of course you could farm under wind turbines. Install them at sea, ect.

Lots of clean, sustainable options available today that didn't exist fifty years ago.

When you look at the impacts of fossil fuel production and refining they have taken up many, many times the land area!

There is just no comparison...

It's pretty obvious renewables win.

Vastly cheaper today.

Without those nasty environmental impacts of mining and burning fossil fuels.
