Another question -- the 1/29/98 news release about the FDA approval of the Diode laser which seemed to send the stock up so much (albeit before the release) . . . is that the same FDA approval that Ted mentioned in a post in early December??? If so, and if the news is really positive, then why would the company sit on this news for so long while its stock was trading below $1 and they were in danger of being delisted?

Sorry, I really don't mean to be a bear, especially since I'm new here . . . but there are too many things about Palomar that sound fishy (like the price more than doubling in a few weeks on news that might not be all that positive -- which wouldn't be the first time, btw).

Toni,

Could you tell us where you saw that news item? It seems strange the rest of us didn't see it. There are two old suits, one for breach of contract which I believe was settled long ago (three point some million dollars rings a bell) and there is a securities fraud suit in progress against H.J Meyers, an MM for allegedly manipulating the price when it was in the $11 range. That's a class action representing some of us lucky shareholders.
