The politicians pulled this EV green thing out of thin air, mandated it, and did zero planning on how to implement it. The UK was once a great nation, knew how to do stuff. The USA lead the way too, until about 2000, and then things fell apart rapidly. The USA was "Enroned". just like Building 7. Unfortunately our leaders can't plan themselves out of a cardboard box these days. They can afford errand boys and cheerleaders like Eric to say everything is wonderful ... when it plainly isn't. But that is as far as it goes.
