Your problem Eric is you think you know everything.

You don't.

But he's told us that he has multiple degrees in just about everything (except high school English). He's even studied Trump for 50 years. A self professed intellectual who's overly fond of himself. :-)

Regarding historical solar storms, the evidence of such solar eruptions that were much stronger than the Carrington event and are sure to reoccur, should be a wake up call (thanks for the links). Months long blackouts would mean a severe blow to our modern civilization. Lots of dead people. And people a lot smarter and more knowledgeable than our resident genius, Eric, have sounded the alarm that we are woefully unprepared for the next one.

And along these same lines, there is evidence that the earth is once again in the early stages of a magnetic pole reversal, with a concurrent weakening of our protective magnetosphere. Unlike the phony "climate crisis" hysteria, we'd better hope that the next major solar super eruption doesn't happen any time soon..

Yeah ... When a massive CME occurs and hits Earth

Both you and Eric have the bases covered when it comes to the Electricity Service.

Dead Teslas pack Oak Brook Supercharger station due to cold weather (fox32chicago.com)

Helpless numpties indeed, just like season two of "Pitch Black"

Can you imagine this happening in a university level debating class?

Count your blessings, in the real world you would have tapped out after your first post on SI.
