From what Eric has told me, they would not switch off a CB to an important service like an EV fast charging port. Did anyone of those freezing Tesla owners check the Power Switch? The TV news announcer didn't say.

THEY WANT TO CONTROL US... The tools to do so are all pretty much in place. Force everyone's residence to be 100% electric and controlled by smart meters. Smart phones, smart TVs, etc. They all watch you and listen to you. Your newer car or truck already spies on you and most can be remotely shut off. De facto "kill switches" will soon become mandatory on all new vehicles. And then there's this.. motortrend.com Coming in a year or two, you will be drug and alcohol tested every time you start your car. Check that link. It's the law. Big Brother owns you and most people don't realize the extent of it.. Edit: I forgot to mention digital currency. One more nail in freedom's coffin..
