Did Wall Street worry while early $10,000 desktop PC's with 20mb hard drives and 128kb of memory for exclusive, high-end business use, decreased to $1,500 or less with 2Tb hard drives and 16mb of memory for mass home use? What about cell phones? Washers, dryers, dishwashers, HVAC, televisions... Scaling up, broadening markets, decreasing costs, lower prices leading to mass adoption. Isn't this just another example in civilization's long history of technology development, its commercialization, and mass adoption?
