Failed ?? Possibly, but I also see it as the top of the current trading band. 4 peaks right in a row (hourly and daily chart). Lower trading band at 18 1/2 to 3/4 (hourly) 17 - 17 1/2 (daily) . 26 trading days ago we were at 15. There seems to be plenty of room for both sides. From the tape, early morning selling into strength and uncertainty for the remainder. My guess is if the weakness continues in the AM we'll most likely see the lower band tested as Fri is options expiration. (17 1/2) This is just my hunch but I'll put it out on the table for view. I'm neither long or short, cleared my 17 1/2 calls today at 3 1/8
