Cruttenden Roth Conference to Bring Together Companies, Investors

IRVINE, Calif., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ - Approximately 135 mostly emerging growth companies will participate in a giant investor "road show" when underwriter Cruttenden Roth holds its Tenth Annual Growth Stock Conference, scheduled for March 1-3, 1998 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Laguna Niguel, California.

The only one of its kind in Southern California, the conference provides a forum where top management from publicly held companies can tell their financial stories to institutional investors, portfolio and money managers as well as sophisticated investors.

"Our goal in sponsoring this annual event is to ensure that emerging growth companies can meet with some of Wall Street's most active institutional investors," said Cruttenden Roth president Byron Roth.

In the same light, this conference allows time constrained institutional investors "to meet face-to-face with over 100 new financial opportunities in a very short time period," continued Roth.

Over 1,000 conference attendees will hear presentations from top
executives representing industry sectors such as biotechnology, entertainment, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, consumer products/services and retail.

Corporate co-sponsors of the Tenth Annual Growth Stock Conference include Deloitte Touche LLP; Ernst & Young, LLP; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP; Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth; Imperial Bank; and Merrill Corporation.

Media sponsors include Investor's Business Daily, PR Newswire, and the Orange County Business Journal.

Institutional investors, financial advisors, analysts and portfolio
managers will be hosted on a space available basis. For registration information contact Cruttenden Roth's conference desk at (714) 757-5786. For a background on Cruttenden Roth and a listing of its other investor conferences, please visit this company's website at crut.com.
