Haven't seen any mention of it. Perhaps purposely so. Last I heard, I thought that some one had backed out of discussions as the MOT name brands weren't included.

I don't believe so. ZOOM and a couple others looked into it and turned away, because...MOT wasn't selling those parts that represented value...distribution channel, name or branding. It appeared that MOT had succeeded in de-valuing the modem division to the point it wasn't attractive to any buyer.
