No, the dosis I remembered obviously was my 2nd one at approx age 12 years old after having had my 1st dosis upon birth. Remembered it very well, when my mother locked me up in a dark room for the next 48 hours.
My uncle, her brother, was joining university for medical school at ago 20 at 1940 and was informed, that having the TB vaccination prior to that was a must.
While this was aginst his best conviction, he had no choice. So a year later or so he came up with a bad TB infection, which affected his left lung enough to require it toe be 'gassed', as they called it back then.
He barely survived this ordeal, but did indeed finish with his MD with almost 2 years delay, before he could apply for and get his first position at a local hospital. Yes, indeed as a lung specialist.

That bad lung of his was eventually opened up again years later with approx. 10 % of the function preserved.

No, my memory is pretty good, actually.
