One of the neighbours just dropped by. All OK but the power may out for a while longer. The power is out from Stranrar to Dumfries, so if it was a tree it must of been a really BIG tree. Sounds like the area grid is down including the feed from the Hydro Power Stations. I was told it might be back up in 30 minutes or so. I am not banking on that though... wouldnt like to be the emergency electrician playing with broken HV lines in these winds. Hope they take care, no rush needed.
