An interesting story. It's such a nice place Ukraine, and it's a pity to see it spoiled. Some of the Ukrainian beers are good. They uplifted whole breweries from Germany at the end of WW2. Knowing a bit about Ukrainians, no surprise there. A bit like Australians I suspect. The banter would go something like this: "Sorry mate, you lost that one, that will cost you a brewery".

Just did a little checking on the brand Brahma. Interesting historical backdrop. Also there is the wiki page.. "Brahma is now brewed in the Czech Republic." Well, if that is anything to go by, I'm impressed. The Czechs know their Lager Beers, and in volume production too.
