Neat little scam covered by Briefing:

15:25 ET Saf T Lock (LOCK) 4 3/16 +3/8: --UPDATE-- According to a Quantum Group press release issued Feb. 6, State Street Securities received $465,000 for assisting the company with a 3 mln share offering. The report also states that if LOCK shares remain above $3, State Street would receive an additional $742,000. Quantum believes that this is a "this is a pump and dump scheme." The frim rates LOCK a "sell."

14:38 ET Saf T Lok (LOCK) 4 3/32 +9/32 (+7%) : Here is one you speculators may find of interest. State Street Securities initiates coverage of gun lock maker with a 12-24 month price target of $20-$40 per share. Sees FY98 and FY99 earnings of $1.00 and $1.50, which translates to P/Es of 4.09 and 2.73, respectivley.
