Re APD - well today we had the bad news - and earnings miss. it was sort of telegraphed with a smaller than usual dividend increase a couple of days ago. Nevertheless, I am a buyer in a small starter position. This is a very durable and structurally advantaged business. Many manufacturing processes like semiconductor manufacturing, chemical plants, steel mills, medical facilities use industrial gases, so you get a royalty on GDP growth the APD. That said, the answer of the CEO regarding the smaller dividend increase was ridiculous and gives me some concerns about management grip on capital allocation.
