Personally I think wind turbines on a massive scale makes more sense than trying to capture solar radiation. No matter what you say, there just isn't enough energy to capture per square meter of sunlight. Scalability becomes a major concern

Scalability?

You incredibly don't understand how much power can be created today with PV's. Much easier to scale them than turbines (which by the way I've worked with on various projects for over thirty years).

Yep,

Wind turbines can generate a lot of power if they are sighted properly but their lifetimes don't come anywhere near the lifetime of PV's and PV's don't need the ongoing maintenance that turbines do.

It simply comes down to cost per watt generated over time.

Yep,

Understand the boundary layer effects that affect turbines.

Design some systems for me.

I've done many. Up to 100 kw.

I intimately understand the aerodynamics of them.

It's frankly pretty obvious you don't have any experience out in the field with PV's or wind power.
