Enigma. When you are on a site if you take your mouse pointer and single click on the location in the address bar it will then go blue. The go to the edit button and pull down and click "copy" The go to the person you wish to post to and when you respond and are in the respond text window go up to the edit button again and pull down and click "paste". It will then put that URL there. Any URL in this form will be recognised and highlighted as a link, even if not a link. so try a few false links, some might exist. enigma.com sausage.com link sausage mouser.com cattery.com I made them up, sausage, cat mouse etc. Try them they might actually be out there somewhere. After I posted them I tried them, they are all live links, real web sites. Lets go far out rangoon.com alive mandalay.com alive boomer.com alive kittylitter.com no good catfur.com no good mice.com no good Just playing, it's fun Bill You can also open wordpad and then copy and paste stuff to wordpad and then read/edit/print/post to otjers easier later on.

Checked your bio, and private message follows on private matter - but imagine my surprise to find a fellow aficionado of COL, Cascade Oil and Gas - as well as PFG, of course -g- To send a private message, click on the person's profile (their name, in blue), and at the top of their bio your will see a link that says "Send a private message", click on it and type, vwahlah, you dunnit. I have considered starting a thread on COL, I like them a whole bunch, just tripled up in the thirties.... .......... cheers ...................... marcos PS - re Buffett and silver - he made a statement that he "had no plans to buy or sell silver at this time", and imho he values his credibility too highly to say one thing and do another.

The easy way to copy an internet address is to go to the address you want to copy--hold down the left side of your mouse and highlight the address. Then press the right side of your mouse and click on "copy". Then go to where you want to put the address--press the left side of the mouse click on "paste" and the address will appear. You can send a private message to anyone on SI by clicking on their name in the "blue at the top of the post" and you will go to the page where they have put their e-mail address --if they have filled the section in. Hope that is clear
