It probably will end this year. I think they stated 2 trillion dollars in Treasuries was their goal. There was a market shortage of roughly that amount since the Fed went well above the deficits created by the Covid lockdown. The 550 billion dollars remaining in the Fed's Reverse Repurchase Facility should be drained sometime this year, perhaps as soon as the end of the first half.
