First, check out the web site and read what they have to offer.

Second, check out the SureTrade thread.

Last..... I use Suretrade Mainly for OTC-BB stocks that I trade.

DATEK ...
Eventhough Datek caused themselves problems with the new web site and their data feed for quotes, or whatever, I still like DATEK the best for speed of execution. I have had the least problems with DATEK.

I am slowly moving funds from ETRade to Suretrade and DATEK. I will not transfer securities between brokers since I've heard too many horror stories.

SureTrade, relies on EMail. They have a toll number to contact customer support, but you have to wait. They have a 800 number for tele trades, but I have never used it. (Someone on the SureTrade thread posted how to get to customer support using the 800 number) Anyway, Since I have not had a problem with SureTrade I am happy, but many are not as you will see in the Thread. SureTrade is not for the faint of heart. For when you have a problem, one usually wants instant gratification,,,, especially when it comes to money..
I rate the speed of executions of Suretrade close to ETrade. But, their updating is not realtime.

Good luck.... for I've said it somewhere, that no matter who you talk to, someone will have good reviews and others will have bad.

I have both a Datek account and an SureTrade account. SureTrades screens are real slow to enter information and update. After placing a order on Suretrade, it is sent for them to review before processing. Personally, my feelings are that Datek is better. Last year, Datek lost one of my orders and it took over two weeks before they sent out a check. Lately, they have been very prompt in sending out checks and today, I even got price impovements on a sale.

I opened a SureTrade account to get first hand knowledge but will probably be closing it as soon as I close my one position.

Hope this helps in making your decision to open a SureTrade account.
