In the state of NY, if Trump filed an appeal, he'd have to put up the entire amount of the judgement in an escrow account.

That means there won't be an appeal.

Wow, is that true? What if a regular person like you got sued in NY and the jury hated you and awarded $1 trillion to the plaintiff? You essentially have no appeal rights? Just wondering...
