One wonders(me specifically) why you would post that after you debunked it at the time....

Oh, that's right, you call yourself a master troller.

Wharfie,
214,629 deaths/ 7,638,596 cases =2.80979% death rate.
That's among the confirmed cases. The death rates being reported assume that there are a lot of undetected, asymptomatic cases of COVID-19.

I posted a while back explaining why even a death rate of 0.64% would be catastrophic: Message 32843720

People don't understand why a virus that has a 0.64% death rate can be MORE deadly than a virus that has a 50% death rate.

P.S. - I find it hilarious that some people would take certain things from the CDC as gospel but not other things like mask-wearing.

In reality, any figures in 2020 were nigh useless(especially when known liar Rat posts in October of 2020).
Per CDC:

"CDC’s National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) collects and reports annual mortality statistics using data from U.S. death certificates. Because of the time needed to investigate certain causes of death and to process and review data, final annual mortality data for a given year are typically released 11 months after the end of the calendar year."
